How does it work?

Faster repairs

Popular professional products on the fast track list enjoy repairs within 2 to 5 business days, depending on your Membership Tier. If it takes us longer, we offer a back-up loan to keep you shooting. And that’s not all – your repair bill is discounted by between 10% and 20%.

Regular servicing

When your product is operating normally and needs a good clean, we offer a wide range of Maintenance services included with your membership. Each year of membership qualifies you for maintenance tokens, equal to what you’ve paid for CPS. When you need a service, login to your account and spend your tokens!

Free shipping

Every time you need a repair or service, select “Express shipping” when sending us your product. We will start working on it the next business day. Remember to print and attach your CPS Priority label so that we know it’s you!

  • CPS is a comprehensive support programme that helps professionals and businesses to keep their Canon equipment on track through regular servicing and faster repairs. CPS membership is paid annually and offers various tiers for self-employed professionals, small and medium businesses as well as corporate packages for larger businesses. Multiple employees of the same organisation can access and use the benefits and support of Canon Professional Services at the same time.

  • CPS is open to any individual registered as a business or any company who use Canon equipment for their image creation needs, from professional photographers/videographers to creators and producers to any size of organisation.

  • Customers need to create a Canon business account and register all Canon products that belong to their business. Once products are registered and points allocated, all applicable membership packages will be available for purchase.

  • Simply sign up and begin adding your products to find out how many points your kit could get you. You don’t have to finish your registration to discover how many points your equipment is worth - just come back later and finish off to receive your points. You can also see sample kitbag in our benefits table.

  • As an average example of products to quality for CPS Silver would be an EOS R6 Mark II with 230 points, RF 24-70MM F/2.8L IS USM with 200 points, RF 50MM F/1.2L USM with 200 points. Rough example of CPS Gold kitbag would be an EOS R5 Mark II with 350 points, RF 70-200MM F2.8 L IS USM with 225 points, RF 50MM F/1.2L USM with 200 points, RF 28-70MM F/2.8 IS STM with 105 points, Battery Grip BG-R10 with 30 points and SPEEDLITE EL-1 with 95 points. Example of CPS Platinum kitbag could look like an EOS R3 with 480 points, RF 100-300MM F/2.8 L IS USM with 500 points, RF 50MM F/1.2L USM with 200 points, RF 15-35MM F/2.8 L IS USM with 200 points, imagePROGRAF PRO-2100 with 310 points and EF-EOS R Adapter with 10 points.

  • You require a minimum of 500 points to be eligible to purchase a CPS Silver Membership and there is no maximum of points you can get. The more points you have the more CPS Tier are open for you. For example, you have 2000 points, this gives you choice between Platinum, Gold or Silver. If you still need priority repair but can wait 5 or 3 business days, you can choose Silver or Gold. Be mindful that Gold doesn’t provide back up loan benefit.

  • We have over 3,000 Canon products eligible for registration - including most of our cameras, lenses, printers, and even accessories. Remember to add both old and new equipment, and even Canon products bought outside of your home country could give you points.

  • Points are greyed-out when there are details missing and a product is not fully registered. Please edit your product registration and fill in all details (serial number, country of purchase, date of purchase and store purchased). Points will then be validated and contribute to your membership level.

  • CPS has evolved into a dedicated resource for professionals and businesses, with unique new benefits designed to protect your business against the unexpected, so you and your team can concentrate on your craft. Holders of a Canon Business Account will have access to multi-user functionality, business payment terms, net pricing (excl. VAT where applicable), and Business-only services. Please check FAQ page for more information.

  • No, you do not need to register your products again. During registration of your Canon Business Account, please include your old CPS email address at the Step 4 of the Business Details section and your products will be available for migration in your new Canon Business Account.

  • We will help with mass upload of your products!
    Please contact CPS Priority support to get a template to fill in and send it back to us. It may take few business days, and we will let you know once it’s done.

  • Yes, your CPS membership number will change when signing up to a CPS Subscription. However, it will remain the same every year as your subscription renews.

  • Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain (mainland only), Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom (mainland only).

  • The Membership fee is charged in advance upon subscription. Payment can be done by card or bank transfer by due date indicated on the VAT invoice.

  • As your CPS membership is a business service, an invoice is issued with 30 days payment terms. If you have chosen to pay by card, your card will be authorised on the day of subscription (showing a zero-value transaction on your card statement) with actual payment being taken on the due date, normally 30 days later.

  • Bank details are displayed on the top of your CPS invoice.

  • Please contact us via CPS Priority Support.

  • No, CPS Membership cannot be suspended.

  • Your CPS Membership will auto-renew for the same Membership Tier at the end of the subscription term, unless you change your auto-renewal preferences before the end of your current subscription.

  • You can request an upgrade or downgrade of your Membership Tier at any time in the “My Subscriptions” area of your business account. The changes will only be applied to your next subscription period. For example, your subscription started on 15 January 2025 and you request an upgrade or downgrade to your Tier on 3 October 2025, then your subscription Tier will change on 15 January 2026.
    Please note, to upgrade your CPS Membership Tier you will need the appropriate number of Product Points to qualify for the relevant Tier.

  • Whilst we will be sorry to see you go, to request cancellation please navigate to the subscription page in Your Business Account or read the guide on how to do this. Your subscription will be cancelled at the end of your billing period. For example, if your subscription started on 15 January 2025, and you have requested cancellation on the 3 October 2025, then your subscription will not auto renew and expire on the 15 January 2026. You will still have access to your CPS Membership Subscription and can use all your benefits until the end of your current billing period.

  • CPS electronic membership card will be available to download from the welcome email.

  • Many of our Canon products are eligible for fast turnaround servicing at PSCs. See the full list HERE. If any of your products qualify for Fast Track this is reflected in your Kitbag for each product. The turnaround time depends on your CPS membership level. For example, for CPS Platinum qualifies for a repair time of 2 business days.
    A maximum of 3 products per member can be treated under fast track at any one time. For comparison purposes, the standard non-CPS turnaround time is approximately 10 days.

  • Target Turnaround Times (TAT) are based on business days (where a business day is defined as excluding weekends, Canon observed holidays, and periods where unavailability is due to circumstances beyond Canon's control) and will be deemed to start the business day after receipt of the product by our Canon PSC and ends on the day the product is ready to leave the Canon PSC. It does not include time spent in shipment (to or from the Canon PSC), nor any time spent awaiting any customer information (for example, missing documentation) or awaiting a customer decision (for example, acceptance of a Time & Cost Quotation for Chargeable Repairs or Services).

  • A backup loan can be requested by a CPS member with an active CPS Platinum subscription strictly after a repair case has been logged. Please request your backup loan by contacting your CPS Priority Support. The Backup Loan will be offered only on Fast track products and is subject to availability. We aim to send the Backup Loan on the same day if request received before 12pm CET on a business day.

  • The fastest turnaround time for all video products (Cinema EOS and X Series) is 5 days. This is due to the complexity of repairs and availability of parts. If the repair will take more than 5 days, Gold and Platinum members are entitled to a backup loan if needed.

  • Your Maintenance Allowance is included into your CPS Membership Tier. Your allowance can be used on the key Canon Maintenance Services offered by Canon Professional Service Centres (“PSC”) across Europe and located in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

    A routine service is when your product operates normally, without fault and will benefit from a clean and check.

    This allowance cannot be used on any other type of services such as upgrades or repairs.

  • Maintenance Tokens are a virtual currency that can be spent on the key maintenance service in any of our PSCs across Europe.
    The amount of tokens equals the cost of your yearly CPS membership fee. For example, CPS Silver costs €100 and this membership tier includes 100 tokens.
    Tokens can be redeemed when raising a service request.
    For example, if sensor clean and check costs €50, a CPS member can use around 50 tokens instead of an actual payment. Please check the guide for step-by-step instructions.
    Tokens are valid during each subscription year and do not roll over to the next year.

  • Maintenance tokens can be used on any of these services.

    Your amount of tokens equals the cost of your yearly CPS membership fee. For example, CPS Platinum costs €350 per year, and a member receives 350 tokens. If a sensor clean and check costs €50, this CPS member can use around 50 tokens instead of a monetary payment. A yearly CPS Platinum membership will cover on average two sensor clean and checks, one EOS Standard service and one L-lens standard service. There can be different combinations of these services.

  • Like CPS Platinum, Corporate packages include a Maintenance Allowance that can be used on any of these services in the same way. However, Corporate A and B tiers also include the benefit of an Onsite Maintenance Day, which takes a share of tokens.

  • This is when Canon technicians visit your premises to perform product cleaning and maintenance for eligible ‘Fast Track Service TAT’ products. This would be one eight (8) hour visit when one (1) technician will perform a maintenance service on up to a maximum of twenty-seven (27) DSLR or Mirrorless products, or thirty-three (33) EF/RF Lens products, or thirty-three (33) Video Camera products, or twenty (20) Cinema EOS products. Please book 60 days in advance by contacting your CPS Priority helpdesk.

  • No, CPS is event better than that! Full paid CPS Membership is valid in any of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain (mainland only), Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom (mainland only).
    CPS benefits can be redeemed in any of our Canon Professional Service Centres located in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and The United Kingdom.
    For example, if you are based in Germany but have a project in Italy and need repair for your camera, you will be able to get it repaired in our Italian repair centre and, if it’s more convenient to you, request for it to be sent back to Germany.

  • Unfortunately, not. CPS benefits can be redeemed only at Canon Professional Service Centres (“PSC”) across Europe and located in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Unlimited next business day delivery is included with your CPS membership to make sure your product gets to us as soon as possible.

  • CPS is run separately for different global regions. However, CPS customers from outside of Europe, are eligible for some services at Canon EMEA facilities and events, with a valid CPS membership card. Please note benefits from your home country may not apply in EMEA.
